On July 2008 Boring Machines he released Piallassa (red desert chronicles), his most romantic and personal record to date.
On the 50th anniversary of Antonioni’s masterpiece The Red Desert, Adriano collected some of his thousands of shoots he made in the Piallassa area, where the movie was shot the year he was born. From this collection, Red Desert Chronicles (Postcards from Ravenna) took shape, a box containing 61 single black/white prints of the different aspects of the post-industrial area born on the seaside of Ravenna.
