AC GALERIE - BERLIN (DE)
AC Galerie is a studio, an exhibiting space and the German editorial office of Occulto Magazine. It was initiated by Alice Cannava in 2009 in a former DDR orphanage at the border between three Berlin districts: Prenzlauerberg, Pankow and Weißensee.
AC Galerie research moves between contemporary art, science popularization, underground cinema, paranormal phenomena, typography, amateur astronomy and symbology, investigating possible connections between these realms.
It offers a program of exhibitions, screenings, talks and small receptions for the initiates.

Occulto is the annual magazine with an eye on extraordinary facts and mysterious practices. It is conceived, composed and published by Irene Lumpa Rossi & Alice Cannava. The magazine and the related publications on paper and online are designed by Alice Cannava.
Occulto Magazine explores new possibilities in the realm of science popularization in connections with other fields such as visual arts, underground cinema, experimental music, parascientific theories, typography, symbology, economy.

BLACK BISCOTTI BY LUCA DI PIERRO
Luca Dipierro is a visual artist, writer and filmmaker born in Italy and living in Asheville, NC. His book of fictions Biscotti Neri will be published in Italy by Madcap at the beginning of 2011. His stories and drawings have been published in The New York Tyrant, Gigantic, Locus, Everyday Genius, JMWW, No Colony, PANK, Harp & Altar, The Sages of Baltimore. His art has been shown in Europe and the USA and has appeared on CD, LP and book covers. Currently, Luca is working on a picture novel in collaboration with Leni Zumas, which is being serialized at thegiganticmag.com. His latest film projects are the documentary 60 WRITERS/60 PLACES and the full length animation DIECI TESTE.
