AMKLON - COLLISION OF ABSOLUTES

Year: 2016
Record label: Boring Machines

Collision of Absolutes quotes the initial passage of Philip K.Dick's "Exegesis" which is just one of the influences that shaped the idea behind the record. The mission on this record is to reshape the known forms into a new "template from which the beautiful is  printed(forged, extracted, converted)" as recite the initial notes of the book.
"Transfer" is the beginning of the trip, transfer intended both as a shift of position and the ability to perform in new context through prior learnings. Amklon takes off from their previous experiences (noise rock and techno) and bring their imagination to deep space.
Revolving around the Rings of Saturn they gain momentum and shift towards the infinite and the farthest known place on the Universe: "GNZ-11". In their voyage into this macro space, they pay attention to every micro sound to reproduce the sensations of their journey.
A sound can recall a sensation. Does that happen in space too? Have you been there already?
